Regulation

The term Podiatrist is protected which means that the title can only be used by practitioners who are registered with the HPC (regulatory body for all Allied Health Professions). Registration is dependent upon successful completion of a recognised course of training and a commitment to continued professional education. The Society of Chiropodists and Podiatrists is the largest professional body and trade union for registered Podiatrists and students.
